***GRC SUMMER BOOK CLUB will be meeting from 8-9 pm on Thursday to read together and discuss Dr. Scott Hahn's new book: Signs of Life: 40 Catholic Customs and Their Biblical Roots.   It's divided into 40 short chapters (3-4 pages) delving into the Biblical roots of Guardian Angels, Holy Water, Novenas, Bible Study, Relics, Rosaries, all those things you know we have a reason for doing or using, but can't quite explain. The book's style is "casual catechetics", explaining and referencing things thoroughly yet with a conversational tone. It's brilliant! As we'll be reading and discussing together, we 'll have the books at the GRC for you. No homework. Nothing to buy. Just drop in and join us.

Experience the power of our full Christian faith as the Apostles did as they set out in the Acts of the Apostles to share Jesus with a darkworld? Who wouldn't. Join us as Fr. Brendan offers the next phase of the Life in the Spirit talks as reflections during our regular Praise and Worship with Adoration on Wednesday night beginning this Wednesday, July 14th at 8:50 pm. A special 7 pm Mass followed by Prayer for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit will be a part of this five session series on Sunday, August 15th. This particular series will deepen our understanding of the Holy Spirit from the heart of the Church, to stir into flame the gift of the Spirit (see Timothy 1:6-7) we have received through Baptism and Confirmation.
